Fine Selectively Bred Geckos Since 1999 Email: brightalbino@yahoo.com

This page is dedicated to some of our favorite 2008 geckos. Most of these geckos were hatched at the Bright Albino...but a few were collected from breeders/friends. We hope you enjoy!

Miscellaneous - Odd and ends...some of the stand out geckos from various projects.

We really feel like we "lucked out" with this guy! Our only "Ember" hatchling...thankfully a male. He is the offspring of Tremper Albinos that were Double Het for Patternless and RAPTOR...making him a Patternless (Murphy's) RAPTOR...also known as an Ember.
The "by product" of our Bell Enigma projects. No complaints about the color on this guy ;)
Red Stripes...oh yea

Bell Patternless ?? odd ball - This odd little guy hatched from our Patternless x Bell project. At this point we really don't know what to make of him...and basically only time will tell. He hatched out very dark with an odd "patternless type" pattern, but not exactly. His eyes are solid black.

Grabbed the camera right away...I knew a patternless shouldn't be this dark ;)
Cool...

Eyes are black right out of the egg...but will they change?

3 weeks old...lightened up a good bit, but still very odd in my opinion. The silver head color and almost "translucent" body colors...and big black eyes are making this guy one of my favorite "odd balls".
Look at those eyes...

Not much change after about another month. Still looking VERY odd, in my opinion. The dark pigment is almost completely gone...except for the eyes??
Just don't know what to think of this guy...perhaps we'll call him the "lavender and yellow black eyed patternless...maybe bell patty"! (just kidding)

Enigmas - This morph certainly lives up to its name! I absolutely love how varied and beautiful each enigma seems to be.

The Bell Enigma! Still one of my favorite hatchling to see in the egg box...so beautiful!
One of our first Mack Snow Enigmas! Beautiful solid black eyes ;)

Two Snow Enigmas with a different look...the Enigmas are so unpredictable :)
An insane Tangerine Enigma produced by Mike Rekowski of www.reptilesbyrekowski.com Thanks again Mike...we're proud to be working with this guy!
The Bell Enigma! Still one of my favorite hatchling to see in the egg box...so beautiful!
Some Bell Enigmas growing up...and showing the wonderful effects "line breeding" ;)

Check out that "red head"!
Another very cool looking head!
Well...other than my kids...my wife...and my relationship with Christ...THIS gecko is my pride and joy. An amazing NOVA...the chosen name for RAPTOR Enigmas! This guy is all I hoped he we be. Again, thanks to Mike Rekowski of www.reptilesbyrekowski.com who produced this world class gecko!
Both eyes are an insane mixture of BRIGHT red and orange!!!

Glad this guy resides in Georgia...cause he definitely has a "red neck"...lol
Same gecko as the one pictured two pictures above...only a few weeks older. He KNOWS he's a stud...check out that look ;)
WOW...
"lava head"...

Our first Mack Snow Bell Enigma! What a beauty.
HOW could you not fall in love with that face???

Halloween Masks - We've been working with this special project for two seasons. The original genes we're collected and developed by Albey Scholls of Albey's too Cool Reptiles. Thankful Albey has let me take the project and work on refining the morph even more. The Halloween Masks have a very unique look as they grow. Please see our collection page for more information on this exciting project.

2008 hatchlings from Halloween Mask x Tangerine Jungle. If all goes as planned we should see these grow in to nice orange geckos with black jungle markings. The best will be held back to create our "Pumpkin" project.
Same pair showing great color at a week old!

Another set of siblings from Halloween Mask x Tangerine Jungle. These are about 2 months old. I can't believe how different they look...
...and I don't know which "look" I like better! Such unique looking geckos.

Another shot of the oldest pair of hatchlings from the "Pumpkin" cross.
Funky!

These ladies are actually from the end of the 07 season...but they will definitely be 2008 breeders. This is the more "classic" Halloween Mask look.
BOLD! Now just imagine it with orange one day...lol
I love this head pattern!
Another bold girl.

Nice, clean...Halloween Mask x Bold Stripe
This guy remains one of my favorites...oh the possibilities.

Super bold and dark
This guy is so unique! His colors and markings remind me of "camoflauge"...hmmmm

Bell Albinos - Bell Albinos are definitely one of my favorite morphs and probably the one we've done the most work with. As you can see below we've had good success producing several different "extremes" of the Bell albino morph. To date we've developed our own unique Lavender Bell line, Lavender Ghost Bell line, and Dorsal Stipe "Bright Bell" line.

2008 Lavender Bells showing great progress. Each year we see more and more lavender. These really suprised me when I first saw them in the incubator. It will be interesting to see how they mature.

A nice outside shot of our founding "bright bell" male (on the left)...next to our reddest Bell Enigma. After four years of hard work we've finally been able to produce a unique line of Tangerine Dorsal Stripe Bells with some of the best color around. We're calling our line of tangerine Bells the "bright bells".
Another picture of our male at only 2.5 months old. The color will improve on this guy as his "dorsal stripe" fills in.

Bright line Bell Albino
More coloring filling in at almost 4 months of age ;)
