Description and History: Our Bright Line Bell Albinos ("Bright Bells", for short) are a project we began in late 2006. We obtained an outstanding Dorsal-Stripe Tangerine from Albey Scholls (Albey's Too Cool Reptiles). This gecko (pictured here) was a "one of a kind" Dorsal Stripe. His color was so intense and he had excellent structure and temperament. Those were the exact traits we were wanting to cross into our Tangerine Bell Albinos at the time. We did several crosses in 2007 and produced a few het Bells that showed potential. In 2008 one of the Dorsal Stripe x Tangerine Bell crosses produced a stunning male (pictured here) that became the foundation for our line of Tangerine Bell Albinos...which we've given the name "Bright Bells". In 2010 we were very pleased to cross our line of Bright Bells with Kelli Hammack's stunning "Hybino Bell" line. The result was better than I could've hoped for, taking our project to new level with intensity of color and extreme carrot-tail.
Characteristics: Our Bright Line Bell Albinos are characterized by deep orange body and head color. Most of our Bright Bells have contrasting patterns and markings (lavender, lime-yellow, bright orange) that visual enhance the depth of the orange body and head coloration. Many Bright Bells also carry the Dorsal Stripe trait developed by Albey Scholls, along with impressive deep orange carrot-tails. The tangerine traits associated with this project usually begin to display their full potential between 30 - 50 grams.
